There are 7 people in our group. We will be staying at the Victoria Lauberhorn hotel.
We are trying to decide whether to do half board since there are 7 of us we would need to
Make reservations every evening at another restaurant. Also Wengen is very hilly plus if the weather
Is bad it would not be pleasant to walk. On the other hand we would miss out on trying different
Foods. So it is a toss up. I would appreciate any thoughts or opinions. I have been to Wengen so
am familiar with the town. We will be there the last week in May so l know the weather can be
Iffy at that time. Not nice if it is raining the night you are going to dinner!

We have found a half board plan to be very satisfying. Every night is different and the food — at least everywhere we’ve been — has been superb. After a full day of activity, it is very nice not to have to figure out where to go and with 7 people, getting reservations won’t be easy. I’d be hard-pressed to think of 6 places I’d want to have dinner that are actually in Wengen.
Embrace the half board experience!

I'd just get the half board to simplify your evening plans. If you want to try food from a restaurant in the area, go there for lunch or just be willing to skip the half board one night. It's not like there is some absolute must eat restaurants in the area. They are perfectly fine, but nothing mind blowing.
