Shuttle van from Geneva airport to Chamonix, France

There seem to be quite a few shuttle van options from the Geneva airport to Chamonix, France. Two of us are flying in a few weeks and need such a transfer. Do we have to reserve seats ahead of time or is it best to find a shuttle van once we arrive? Also, it seems it would be difficult to know exactly what time to catch the shuttle in case of flight delay or delay in customs or baggage claims if one books in advance. Can anyone recommend a particular shuttle service. Thank you for any advice in advance.

I posted this topic under France as well.

I believe they leave several times each day, at around 11am, 2pm, 4pm, 7pm. About 2 hours and $29 each way, Geneva to Chamonix.
I caught their shuttle at their center, Gare Routiere, several blocks south of Gare Cornavin, the main train station in Geneva. I think they go to the airport first, go to the bus station to pick up more folks, then off to Chamonix. I do know you can buy tix at Gare Routiere.
Here is a website that gives some times:
https://www.busbud.com/en/bus-schedules-results/u0hqgf/u0hvk2?outbound-date=2016-06-29&return-date=&adults=1&children=0&seniors=0&child_ages=&senior_ages=&discount_code=

Also, when you arrive in Geneva airport, you can get a ticket for free transportation for one hour. As soon as you get your luggage off the luggage carousel, look at the exit door. Just to the right of it is a machine that will spit out the free ticket for bus or train good for one hour. The #10 bus will bring you to Gare Cornavin and you could walk from there or catch another bus. Geneva bus routes are on the internet.

We took Alpybus from Chamonix to Geneva a couple of weeks ago. Very good service, English speakers from the U.K. and so much easier than the trains required to get to/from Chamonix. I had to reserve Chamonix to Geneva. Not sure how they work in reverse but worth exploring.

I used Chamonix Valley Transfers several months ago, and they were outstanding, and dropped me right at the front door of my hotel.

Booking in advance would be a really good idea! If your flight is delayed or whatever, they will usually try to accommodate you on the next trip. Contact the individual shuttle firms for information on that point.
