I am a bit confused in traveling to Switzerland for the first time. Should we book flights into Zurich, CH (ZRH) or Zurich, CH (ZLP- Rail Station) from the US?

The train station in Zurich is in the airport. It all very user- friendly and the Swiss are extremely efficient! Enjoy this beautiful country!

ZLP is the IATA code for Zürich Hbf, the main station. The code exists because you can for example book a combination of a train to Munich or Geneva with a flight.
You should not have to worry about that. Just select Zürich (all airports) or something similar and let the system figure it out.

Just fly to Zurich. They have just one airport, it's easy.
CH is the abbreviation for the country of Switzerland (Confoederatio Helvetica)
