Sending luggage ahead - where do I go at the station?

Hi Swiss experts,
I plan to take advantage of the SBB service to ship my luggage ahead. I'll drop the bag off in Geneva & pick it up in Tirano several days later. Does anyone know where at the Geneva train station I go to drop it off? At the ticket counter or at left luggage? I plan to purchase a Saver Day Pass that is only good on specific trains, so don't want to be fumbling around during my connection in Geneva & possibly miss my onward train!
Thanks in advance for any assistance!

Lisa, It would help to specify which Geneva train station you are referring to. There's the station at the Airport, and then one downtown (called Cornavin). The train from the airport will stop and go thru the downtown station, but probably not for long. On the other hand, you may want to stop and get some food at the downtown station and then get the next train in an hour or so. Check schedules at sbb.ch.

Either way, here's a youtube I found showing key points at the airport station: https://youtu.be/txuwjwwb_g0

And here's an inside look at Gare Cornavin (downtown): https://youtu.be/LAeyG_TJza0

When I was at Cornavin about 3 years ago (before Covid), the baggage drop-off/claim was at the foot of the escalator that you see at minute 2:08 (I even see a little baggage sign). Put another way, if you exit the Migros store (orange sign in 2:13), take a right and you will see it straight ahead.

Thanks @Shoe! I appreciate you linking the videos. I will be at Geneva Cornavin -- it doesn't look as large as some other stations. I think the 47 minutes I have should be sufficient to drop off my luggage and grab some food for the next train. I realize much can change in 3 years, but you've given me a good idea where to start! Thanks for your expertise.
