We are big hikers and will be in Chamonix for 4 nights before heading into Switzerland for 4 nights. We previously spent 5 nights exploring near Lauterbrunnen. We fly out of Geneva and would prefer to stay in western Switzerland. We are looking at Adelboden and such. We have already enjoyed the oeschinensee lake hike. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Where else have you been in Switzerland? What time of year are you going?
Anywhere else in the greater Berner Oberland or maybe Graübunden? The Lauterbrunnen/Wengen/Mürren area gets a lot of support here in the Forum for good reason, but my husband and I also like the area around Pontresina and Sameden, part of Graübunden. St. Moritz is also here but the other two towns are more charming and there is hiking of all levels. You might also look at Bettmeralp, which is small but quite special.

Ok. Thanks for the suggestions. I was trying to be brief and forgot to mention we’ve done 5 nights around Lauterbrunnen and additional time out of Lucerne.
