I notice when making fake seat reservations (my date is not possible) just to see what I could get, that no window seats are available. Do they only save those paying full ticket prices?
No, I have booked window seats before when making "reservation only" bookings. It might just be that all the window seats are booked already, since they are always the first to get taken.
I'm reading in the guide book that seats ending in 3 and 8 are the left sided seats going from Chur to St Moritz. If I call will they let me ask for them because on the website they are not numbered. Can I ask for two together starting out on the right side with our backs to the front then ending up going forward for the majority of the trip. Will they let me be that specific? Or what is a better way to put it? We want to be sitting together one aisle one window going forward for most of the trip. Am I asking too much?
I have only booked online, but I am sure you can contact Glacier Express and ask about the seats you want (facing direction of travel, one window, one aisle). It seemed like most pairs are booked facing each other, so that may be why it is harder to find 2 seats available facing in the same direction.
