I will visit Switzerland at the end of July and plan to take the Glacial Express and Golden Pass, using the Swiss Travel Pass. As I understand, these routes require seat reservation, so here are my questions:
1) How early should I make the reservation as I'm traveling very popular routes at the high season?
2) Is it cheaper and faster to reserve seats once I get to Europe?
3) I'm leaving for Europe in mid July, can I reserve Swiss trains at the train stations in Netherlands or Germany?
Your advice is highly appreciated.

Glacier Express is the only train you must get a seat reservation. Golden Pass depends on where on the line you are traveling and if you want the "sit by the driver" seats. Yes, reserve Glacier Express ASAP at https://www.glacierexpress.ch/en/.
When buying the reservation, when it asks for your "reduction", indicate "GA". That means you have some sort of Swiss Travel Pass so you only pay for the reservation.
I just logged on the site and bought the reservation. You're right, and the seats are running out. Sam, thank you so much for the advice.
