Perhaps you could make your question more detailed if this is not what you are looking for.

Take the train from Lauterbrunnen to Wilderswil and transfer there to the Schynige Platte mountain train. The latter is an old-fashioned, wooden benched train and a slow, scenic trip to the top. The hiking up there is beautiful but it is rocky and not particularly easy.

I had read the section about this option in RS Best of Europe and was just looking for a bit more.....I’ve been to the area on my own and have visited a lot of the recommended places.....I will be there at the end of June with.ac RS my way tour and was investigating what was available to do......I think it will work......any idea how early I should leave Lauterbrennen.....again, thanks!

I'm going to suggest to check the train timetables and go by them. Schynige Platte is not that high so weather comditions may not be that important. Having said that obviously if it is raining hard or misty i would not go.
