Schilthorn to Murren one way ticket

Hello. We will be Murren in August. Our dream hike is from Murren to Schilthorn. If we hike from Murren to Schilthorn can we buy a ticket at the top for a one-way trip back down? We may not want to hike back down so trying to understand if we have to buy a ticket in advance or if we can buy a one-way ticket at the top. Thanks.

Yes you can. It is 50 CHF one way without the Half Fare Card or Swiss Travel Pass or 25CHF with.
