SBB Website Problems?

I just tried it in Chrome and Firefox and both were unresponsive. Maybe a site problem or maintenance going on? I would wait a few hours and try again.

Coming back to add this. Instead of going to the above URL, I did a google search for it and clicked on one of the links there. It looks like just the home page is the only one having problems. For example, when I clicked on Point to Point Tickets, everything seems to work fine.

I was having similar problems with Trenitalia yesterday—-I wonder if that is related. The opening page would load but then it would just freeze—- I could not enter a date or destination.

I have not tried yet today.

Thank you Mardee. Indeed, that link takes me exactly to the page I am used to. This has been going on for at least a couple days. I wanted to give it time to fix itself before posting, but it hasn't yet. But the workaround is perfect!

I've just had a play around and the new homepage is working perfecto for me. I hadn't explored the new one before this and it is absolutely chocca with whistles and bells, and they all work bonzer. I especially like the profusion of maps. A bit monochrome but very helpful.

Sorry it isn't working the other side of the pond. Has anybody tried with a European VPN?

Nigel, I love the words "chocca" and "bonzer". I can sort of guess at bonzer, but what does chocca mean?

Yep, for awhile now, I gave up and downloaded the app instead. Or check/use Deutsche Bahn website instead.

I just replaced the website address on my favorites bar with the site provided by Mardee. It is the same as the old one.
