Traveling April 14-28. How to pack for that?
Laurie
Please post about your cruise. I'm scheduled for that cruise Oct 28-Nov 8th.

Well, I’m going to be in Paris in that time frame. Here’s my plan:
- I always take a waterproof rain layer with hood.
- I’ll probably take a puffy vest. I’m pretty cold tolerant so likely would not need a puffy jacket but if you are from a warmer climate you might want a jacket instead of a vest.
- I’ll take 4 short sleeve shirts, 1 long sleeve shirt and 2 quarter zip dri-fit long sleeve layers. I’ll take a LS sunshirt which can be another layer if it is colder.
- I’ll take 2 pr jeans and 1 pr of travel pants that are lighter weight as I’ll be traveling until mid May.
- 2 pr shoes….wear 1 pack 1
- Unders, pjs, bras, socks
- I’ll probably throw in lightweight smartwool glove liners
- I’ll review everything at the last minute to see what the weather is doing. If it’s cold I’ll add a long sleeve shirt. If it’s been warm I can add in capris
Yes, I am partially packed, hahaha!!
PS. I see this is your first post! Welcome to the forum!
When we did a European river cruise most people were in casual clothes but might add a collared shirt or smart top for dinner. That said there was a group of people from the Philippines on our cruise who had brought evening wear and wore it every night! Tuxedos and full length ball gowns!
My husband had taken a sports jacket but didn't need to. A long sleeve shirt and trousers were what most men wore for dinner. Womenswear ranged from aforementioned ball gowns to dresses, skirts, black pants and colourful blouses.
