Hello travelers! My family is meeting friends in Lucerne at the end of June in 2026 and we are enamored with the Stoos Ridge Hike. The group of friends is planning a day outing to Rigi Kulm/ Mt Rigi. I am wondering if these 2 places provide the same experience and we would join them for that or if on our way to Lucerne, we should stop and do Stoos by ourselves? Waiting with bated breath for someone who can fill me in? Thanks in advance and greetings from Colorado!

I guess it is doable, as it is 2 hours from Bellinzona to Stoos, 2 trains, 2 buses, and a funicular. Just keep in mind that the weather has to cooperate as you cannot count on good weather on your travel date.
