Reservations needed for Schilthorn brunch?

I noticed on-line that you can reserve brunch and the round trip lifts for Schilthorn. Is it necessary to have a reservation, which would prevent us from changing days in case the weather is bad, or can you just choose the day of to go to Schilthorn and not worry that the lifts or restaurant are full? On-line it seems there are about 1000 spots open on most days. Is the restaurant that big?

No need to reserve the cable car, that doesn’t sell out. In regards to the brunch, it certainly doesn’t fit thousands of people. Maybe 100. But honestly I think the brunch is a tourist trap. It’s expensive subpar food. Go up the Schilthorn to enjoy for sure, but if you want to experience the revolving restaurant just go after brunch to order a drink. You get the gist in 15 minutes without planning your whole day around it.

I had the Schilthorn brunch in Sept. 2021 and loved it, especially the mini waffles. I'm a tourist, so I don't have a problem doing touristy things. :-)

I had emailed them prior to my trip and asked if the brunch reservation was changeable and was told yes. You could email them and see if that is still the case. You can find an email address at the bottom of this page:
