Sorry, but if you are in Switzerland for 10 days, why would you want a 15 day pass?
I would just reserve a few days early for the Glacier Express or the Bernina Express. Try to get an idea of the weather forecast before reserving, although mountain weather can be...changeable.

If you are keeping your hotel reservations flexible, then you could also stay flexible on the scenic train reservations. It is possible for the Panorama car to get booked up, but you do still see well on your own side of the train in other cars. There is no 10-day pass, as you know. The 15-day version costs about $84 more per person that the 8-day version, or about $42 per day that you plan to use, so that can be a logical choice.
