Trying to get reservations for the route on 4/23. Because it doesn't start for the spring until 4/15, I keep circling back and forth on different sites with no luck ending up on the actual reservations page. There is a site for the route itself but it's only in German or Italian. Looking for tips and insights! TIA
I'm usually good with everything Swiss trains, but I am equally befuddled. I am only seeing German and Italian for the dedicated reservation page, and I do not even see an option for passholder seat reservation (only tickets+reservation).
Maybe someone else knows, or you can sort this out once in Switzerland - I doubt it will be full this early in the season. At worst, you can easily do the same trip yourself: boat to Brunnen (10 min walk from pier to station) or Flüelen (no walk, but longer boat time), then hourly-or-so "Treno Gottardo" train over the Panoramic railway to Locarno, or Bellinzona for Lugano and beyond.
Thank you!
Have you tried this site? https://www.gotthard-panorama-express.ch/de/routing/routing-gopex
Sometimes with the Swiss trains you have to create an account otherwise it might assume you have a pass (I don't)
I have but I don't trust my comprehension of Italian ...And I do have an account - purchased the half price pass. Still not finding exactly what I'm looking for which is buying the actual ticket with my half price pass and paying for the reservation ...
Just to reassure you...I'm having the very same issue! I cannot figure this Gotthard Panorama Express reservation system out and am pulling my hair out! I did receive a link today from someone using the Rick Steves Travel Forum. See if this helps. I haven't had time to explore myself yet:

I was given a tip to try to access the link - https://www.gotthard-panorama-express.ch/it/ - using Google Chrome (I was using Safari). Google has a button to provide an English translation and finally I've got access in English! Good luck fellow travelers!
I already purchased our Swiss Travel Passes and the only way now to reserve a seat on any of the Panoramic trains per the SBB.CH website is to call them with a cc number or purchase at the train station when you arrive in Switzerland.
I actually was just able to purchase reservations on line this morning using the link (https://www.gotthard-panorama-express.ch) and was able to indicate I had the half price card which I'm guessing they will check when I'm there. They've already sent me the confirmation.
