Recommendations: # full days in Zurich and Lucerne

I can't speak to Zurich, because it was not of interest to us. We flew in to Zurich, and immediately took the train to Lucerne, where we spent three nights. That gave us enough time to do the things that we wanted. Our focus was the BO, so from Lucerne, we took the train to Wengen and spent five nights there, before heading out to our next locations.

We spent 1 and a half 5 days in Zurich last Spring and I wished we would have had an extra day. We had 2.5 days in Lucerne which was a good amount just for the city, we would have needed a couple more if we had ventured out on day trips.
