Ready-made meal in Lauterbrunnen

I will be staying in Lauterbrunnen for 4 nights. Based on the previous posts on this page hotel restaurant meals cost around $20-$30 per person. But I have heard about supermarket stores being cheaper. How much cheaper are they? I will only be buying ready-made food and don't have access to heat the food or kitchen.

Does the coop store in lauterbrunnen has ready-made meals? and can anyone tell me how much they cost? for lets say a sandwich?
Are there any other cheaper food options like grocery stores, bakeries, cafe in lauterbrunnen?
Thank you

The Coop grocery prices are about the same as at home in the USA. MUCH cheaper than restaurants. You can buy sandwiches ready made or ingredients to make your own. There's also some very decent wine options at very affordable prices. The Coops are a life-saver when eating in Switzerland.

There's also a little cafe/bakery/market located just next to the gondola station in Lauterbrunnen. If your order food items they'll still be rather pricey but I remember they seemed much more affordable than normal for Switzerland. They also have a mini market of various items priced like a normal grocery store.

You can get a large pre-made salad in several varieties, even includes a fork and the dressing.

Pre-made sandwiches are good too, so are sausages and cheese.

I'd be guessing at the prices, but they are significantly less than getting that on a plate.

If you are in Lauterbrunnen and have a pass, you're only 20 minutes away from Interlaken Ost and a greater variety of choices, including a lunch counter at the Coop where you buy hot food either by the piece or hot and cold food by weight, or desert. Prices in there pretty good too, relatively speaking, but they do close early.

Great advice from Nigel. The Air Time Cafe in Lauterbrunnen also has some small and decently-priced options, but I think they close pretty early.

Things you can make with bread. Mostly sandwiches.
Peanut butter.
Boiled eggs. There is usually 1/3 of an eisle of UNrefrigerated boiled, or 'picnic' eggs. Good protein throughout the day.
Pickles and bottled/canned side dishes. I like a nice canned fruit cocktail if I don't have anything fresh. That being said...
Fresh fruit.
Fresh veggies.
Salad, bagged.
Dressing. They do not know what 'Ranch' is but they do sell something with that name that is good. Sometimes you can find ind idividual servings.
Cookies and crackers (and canned spreads).
A small box of Popsicles to split. Helps to make friends ;)

Where are you staying?

I know you say that you don't have access to heat up/kitchen facilities. BUY A GRILLEE (sorry for the spelling). They can be had at coops and the like, home stores, and gas stations. They are completely self-contained grills about 12x18 (don't hold me to specifics) that are made of aluminum pans and are disposable. I have used them and seen them widely used everywhere. Even in crowded city parks and wide open areas. They might even come three to a pack. Light it, fan with your paper plate, grill your Weisswurst et al, eat, dispose of properly. We love to keep a couple in our car but they are light enough to go anywhere.

This IS NOT it, but looks very similar:
