rainy day options

We'll be in Switzerland Sept 1-15, and the forecast calls for rain the entire time. We have Swiss Rail passes and were going to do extensive day trips from Bern. Any ideas of rainy day fun?

Your Swiss Travel Pass also covers the museums listed at http://www.museumspass.ch/. But don't throw in the towel, yet. That weather forecast is very prone to change. Sometimes you get lucky and most of the rain is at night; optimistic, I know, but I've had that experience in several areas.

P.S. At the walled town of Murten, the ramparts walkway is covered.

It will NOT rain all the time. However, more than the rain, what might put a damper on your travel will be the clouds. If you are OK with clouds and have a poncho to wear at a moment's notice, nothing can stop you from sticking to your plans.

However, if clouds are an issue, you might want to look at the wheretogo link as suggested by meteoblue (this link is for Lauterbrunnen weather) on the morning of each of your excursions.
