Hi everyone, our base is Bern (staying there 5 days) and trying to figure out what to do tomorrow as it’s looking like heavy or steady rain till at least 1pm.
To get to Glacier Express train is over 4 hours away (not possible), and Golden Pass line just sounds more like a train ride through different cities (worth it or no)?
Any ideas we can do besides maybe a museum? Something to do in Bern maybe?

It is nice to wander around the covered arcades of Bern old town for half a day. Good shops, cafés, etc.
Edited to add that shops are probably not open on a Sunday in Switzerland, for future reference.
And you could brave the rain to visit Murten, not so far away by local train.
The scenic railways won't be at their best on a day like this - but FYI the Golden Pass is rural and beautiful.
