Rain all day, all week in Lauterbrunnen- suggestions?

So according to my weather app and this link:

https://weather.com/weather/tenday/l/Lauterbrunnen+Switzerland+SZXX0415:1:SZ

There's a 90-100% chance of rain and/or thunderstorms for the entire week that we're there (our flight leaves tomorrow).

We originally were going to get the BO pass because basically everything we wanted to do was in that area (Lucerne, Berne, Thun, Spiez, all of the mountain towns and hikes in the area). I'm now thinking we need a back up plan.

  1. Would you recommend changing to the Swiss pass or Swiss half pass? They're a lot more expensive, but wasn't sure if there was enough to do in the valleys and mountain villages when the forecast is saying rain all day for every day that we're there.

  2. Besides visiting Lucerne, Berne, and the falls, are there any other recommendations in the BO for majorly rainy days? If not, maybe some other good day trips to some sunnier areas?

Leaving tomorrow so any input is appreciated! :)

(And ps- we plan on making the best of it no matter what- I was just curious to what the best plan of action might be. Thanks in advance for your help!).

Rainy days:
Visit the Lauterbrunnen museum (left at church, cross river, on your right). Your hotel may have given you a pass to cover the small admission fee.
Visit the transport museum in Lucerne.
Go shopping at huge Coop store opposite Interlaken Ost train station
Misty days:
Walk or take PTT bus to Trummelbach Falls
Walk up and under Staubach Falls in Lauterbrunnen
Train to Meiringen and walk Aare River Gorge and/or Reichenbach Falls
Lucerne, see Dying Lion monument, and next door Glacier Garden (mosty covered) with Mirror Maze (covered).
Boat on Lake Brienz.

Use MeteoSwiss rather than a US web site for weather. Right now it only predicts Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning to be wet. Be prepared to wake up early - mountain weather is often best before the sun heats up the air.

I've hiked in the rain there, and would do so again! We took rain pants and jackets with us, and one day I think the pants were on / off at least 3 times.

tummelbach falls, swiss open air museum, but unless it's supposed to rain ALL day I would be hiking:)

By the way, it's a bright sunny day in the L valley today. Afternoon thunderstorms are not a big deal. You'll have a great time this week.
