We'll be taking the train from Interlaken to Wengen, then four full days in and around Wengen (train to Jungfraujoch, seilbahns, etc.), and then taking a train to Zurich. I THINK we should get Half Fare Cards (rather than Swiss Rail Passes) but I thought I should reach out and see if there are any experts who could make sure I'm not making a mistake! TIA!
Jungfrau Pass or Berner Oberland or just pay as you go. And yes all this works in combination wit hte HFC>
If there are any children in you party get the Family Card with your HFC, as that gives free travel, also on cable cars etc...
I usually advise people to not to break their heads over when the pass breaks even, and just get it, and then just use it as much as you can. There is no law saying you can ride the cable car to the Männlichen multiple times. I have the summer pass, and sometimes go up to the Männlichen just to grab some lunch .
