Hi - I am trying to decide which travel pass is best for my trip. I will be traveling at the end of this month (August).
My itinerary is as follows:
- Day 1 - Fly into Geneva -> straight to Montreaux
- Day 2 - Montreaux
- Day 3 - Montreaux to Wengen
- Day 4 - 5 - Wengen
- Day 6 - Wengen to Lucerne
- Day 7 - Lucerne to Zurich
I was originally going to get the swiss pass, but understand that many of the cable cars in the Wengen/Interlaken area are not covered by this. I looked into the Bernese Oberland pass which appears to cover most travel around Wengen and most of the travel between the rest of the locations I will be visiting.
Additionally, I am trying to figure out the best way to break out 3 days in the Jungfrau region based in Wengen.
