Question Re: Lauterbrunnen Hotel

if you are looking for a reasonable priced evening meals, try the restaurant at the caravan park, a nice, short walk out of the main town. you may have to book before hand. it was suggested to us and we found it a very good option.

Thank you! Actually, all I am looking for now is lodging in Lauterbrunnen, and any information on Chalet Im Rohr in Lauterbrunnen.

We stayed at an AirBnB that we liked very much. It is in the beautiful Lauterbrunnen Valley, maybe 3 miles from Lauterbrunnen. We walked it one time. The city bus(free) stops right in front of it.

Hotel Silberhorn

We stayed at Hotel Silberhorn two years ago. Nice, quiet, and very close to train and lift stations.

We stayed at the Hotel Staubbach less than a week ago and really liked it. Terrific view from the hotel balconies and very friendly staff.

You could also have a look at Hotel Oberland, which is close to the station and cable car to Grütschalp. They have a great restaurant, but as with anywhere else in Switzerland, it's pricey.

I stayed July 2017 at the Hotel Steinbock near the train station. Perfect when you what to spend time in the mountains and not in a hotel room. The room had TV channels showing live cam of the weather in the mountains so you know whether or not to go out.
