we are on the rail europe rick steves site trying to buy a swiss travel pass. We want to also purchase reserved seats for the Bernina Express and the Glacier express. Do we purchase the pass BEFORE getting reservations? before purchasing, we hit add a trip which took us to trains and reservations. There was no place to enter Bernina express just city leaving, city arriving.
when we filled this out, we get a message that we cannot buy a ticket on line at this time.

If you already have a rail pass, you can go to the Bernina Express website and purchase a reservation there. When you get to the pricing page, select "Ticket available" to signify that you already have a ticket, you just need the reservation supplement.

And you can buy the pass and make the reservations in either order. They only check you have a pass (or a normal ticket) on the train.
