Carry them in your carry-on bag. But keep them in the original pill bottle, not loose in unlabled ziplock bags. I also carry a paper copy of the prescription paperwork that came with the prescription.

In a zillion years, I have never had anyone care about a few pill bottles, but you never know, these days.

On another note, if you have a minor medical issue, or problem with medication, Swiss pharmacies can actually diagnose and prescribe some kinds of medication. In the past, they have been very helpful to my wife. They cannot accept your prescription and refill it, but may be able to recommend other substitutes.

The best advice is to pack them in your carry-on, have copies of the prescription, some countries (can't speak to Switzerland) require a letter from your Doctor listing the prescription, doses, and why prescribed.

That said, it would be rare anyone would check, and likely would not be concerned about small quantities of standard meds.

If you take opioids (pain killers) then take more care and make sure you have something from your Doctor. If you take any stimulants (for anxiety, ADHD, etc.) those meds may actually be illegal, so you need even more documentation, and you will need to search for specific information for the countries you will be in and what rules they have.
