please help me choose a pass

Hi
My husband and i with our 5 year old plan to spend 6 days in switzerland in july. Our itinerary is as follows

Day 1- zurich to lucern and MtRigi back to zurich, stay with friends
Day2- zurich to interlacken to wengen , stay in wengen
Day 3 - jungfrouch if weather permits , stay in wengen
Day 4- wwngen to montreux , visit chateu de chillon, stay in montrux
Day 5- chocolate train ( already booked with swiss pass discounted fare), stay in montreux
Day 6 - montreux to lucern in golden pass and then to zurich
Day 7 - fly out of zurich
Which pass should i take , flexi saver pass for 4 days or 5 days .

If i take a flexi pass , do i have to use it only in non consecutive days or can i validate in consecutive days

For the jungfrouch trip from wengen , do i have to activate the pass ? Or is it a discounted trip( without activating ). Same for chocolate train, is it considered an activated day or non activated but discounted day.

Clueless and tensed about the trip.
Please help me decide

Thanks
S Mathew

Rather than mess with Flexi Passes, just get 2 8-day Saver Passes at 354 chf plus a free Family Card to cover your 5 year old. You are doing enough travel to make it pay.

You can decide on which days to use a flexipass, but the 8-day-consecutive version of the Swiss Pass offers the most convenience and coverage for just slightly more than a 4- or 5-day flexipass. It covers trains, including to Mt. Rigi and to Wengen; lake boats; buses city trams; and many museums, including Chateau de Chillon. The Wengen-Jungfraujoch train is discounted 25% for the adults with either pass. The child with the Swiss Family/Junior Card is free on all these transport/museum options.
