Please Help: 3 week Switzerland Itinerary!

Hello all!
I will be flying into Zurich on 09/30/24 with my boyfriend and we have 9/30-10/8 booked. His priority is seeing the Matterhorn and he wants to see as much as possible. I know it looks like it is a jam packed trip because it is!
Here is our itinerary:
09/30: Arrive to Zurich
10/1: Leave Zurich mid day > Lucerne
10/2 Lucerne > Wengen
10/3 Wengen/Lauterbrunnen Valley
10/4 Wengen > Zermatt
10/5 Zermatt
10/6 Zermatt > Lausanne
10/7 Lausanne/Montreaux/Vevey > Geneva
10/8 Early flight out of Geneva

After he leaves I will be spending the next two weeks by myself traveling around Switzerland. I would still like to explore Pontresina, St. Mortiz area. In my original itinerary, I was staying in each place 4-5 days so the start of the trip with him will be a different pace.

Questions:
1. Would you recommend me revisiting the Lauterbrunnen valley and Lucerne or any other previous stops since I have the time?
2. What is the best way to go from Lausanne > east side of Switzerland?
*I've been looking at maps and it seems like I could go back to Berner Oberland region then take a train to Lucerne then Appenzell?
3. I will be in Lake Como for a week after the 3 weeks in Switzerland so would it make sense to place Pontresina last?

Any other feedback is appreciated!
Thanks!

Hi,
I would really skip that first night in Zürich and head straight to Luzern. If you must visit Zürich, put your luggage in a locker, walk a loop from the station to the lake around both sides of the Limmat river for 2-3 hours (you don't need much more IMO), then continue to Luzern.

From Lausanne, I would travel on the Golden Pass railway via Zweisimmen back to the Berner Oberland - maybe Grindelwald for a change of valley.
Then Grindelwald to Appenzell (beware of rail closure between Interlaken and Luzern), and Appenzell to Po tresina.
