Hey everyone. Planning a trip to Rigi. I’ve seen people mention taking the boat outside the train station in Lucern. Where do I find the schedule for the boats?

You can check on the SBB app or website.
The boats run hourly starting at 8:12 to Vitznau. Pier 1 in front of the train station.

If you’re on the app, to the right of where the date is displayed, you will see 3 lines with circles. Click on that, then go down to means of transport and turn that on. Then uncheck everything but ship. Then you will just get the times for the boat. You want Luzern Bahnhofquai to Vitznau.
When going up to Rigi on the train, get seats on the left side for the best views.

Here is the schedule for summer so you can plan. You may want a boat back to Luzern from Weggis.

The Swiss are so efficient that they coordinate the ferry and cogwheel train schedules. When you get off the ferry at Vitnau, the cogwheel train will be waiting. The opposite is true for the return trip. Enjoy this beautiful country!
