We will be traveling by car from Triberg to Murren. Any suggestions on where to stop and/or have a meal along the way? Thank you!

Depending on your route, I'd stop in Luzern.
I assume you know you can't drive into Murren? No cars allowed. You'll have to park in the ramp at the Lauterbrunnen train station, then take the Cable car to Grutschalp and then the train from Grutschalp to Murren.

Via Bern is quicker - Black Forest > Basel (A5) > Bern > Spiez > the road around the south side of Lake Thun > go just north of Interlaken centre and up the hill.
Via Luzern is more scenic - Black Forest > Basel (A5) > south of Zurich (avoid rush hour) > the last rest stop prior to Luzern where there is a Holiday Inn Express and Movenpick Marché restaurant on the north side of the highway > Luzern, follow signs to Brunig Pass, over the pass and down along the south side of Lake Brienz avoiding Interlaken and up the hill.
Be sure to get a Vignette prior to or no later than the border (CHF40, may buy in Euro).
Both routes follow popular train lines.
