My husband and I have a late morning flight out of the Zurich airport at the end of our vacation. I want to book our last night's stay in a village/city near the airport, but don't want to book one of the hotels right at the airport.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a village within 20-30 minutes of the airport? Or better yet, a hotel/B&B in that village?

Will you have a car? If not, what are your plans for transport to the airport in the morning?
Most of what you will find within 30:minutes of the airport will be Zurich suburbs, not villages. Schaffhausen is a nice town with hotels, but it is 47 minutes from the airport by direct train (no changes).
Yes, we do have a car, so we are not limited to the Zurich suburbs.
