Picking day trips from Luzern

There are multiple options for "mountain adventures" we could go on when we are in Luzern in October: Mt. Pilatus, Mt. Rigi, and Mt. Titlis all look like fun but I'm not sure we will have time to go to all three (staying 3 nights in Luzern). Would love any advice people might have about which are the best to visit. We are two 60+ adult and we will have been in the Berner Oberland area and to mountain visits there before coming to Luzern. We will have Swiss passes. We like the idea of the luge ride at Mt. Pilatus but need help deciding which places are a "must see". Thanks for any advice people can give us!

Are you aware the full Rigi loop is fully covered on the Swiss Pass? That men's boat to Vitznau, cogwheel train to Rigi Kilmer (the summit), train back down to Rigi Kaltbad, cablecar down to weggis, and boat back to Luzern. Most of the time younwill have views over the lake and there are numerous opportunities for walks at the various stops. That would be my first choice.

Pilatus appears to have nice views too, but the excursion is only partly covered with a Swiss Pass. If the luge is the main attraction, you can just go upmthat far by cablecar from Luzern (Kriens).

Thank you! That is helpful. I like the idea of saving some money and hadn't thought about going to do the Luge without the trip to the top.

We are thinking of also going to Luzern next year. Let us know what you decided to do and what was your experience.
