Refining our itinerary... (thanks to all who replied to my earlier post - it really helped!!!) This forum is amazing!
We'd love the advice of the forum on best itinerary for these stops given this flight information. Current plan: Arrive Zurich morning June 19. Leave very early July 4 (so planning an overnight on July 3 near Zurich airport). 2 adults, kids 11, 11 and 15 at the time of travel.
We will stay in these locations 3-4 days each: Luzern, Lausanne, Berner-Oberland, Zermatt
We'd like to have scenic train time getting from place to place but don't want to just spend a day on a train just for the train. I have done some research but I'm having trouble figuring out the scenic trains vs. regular train routes and when it is worth taking extra time for a scenic train as opposed to just making that a leg where we get from A to B as efficiently as we can. Would like to end on a high note in terms of awesome locations....
