Pass or no pass?

Hi all, we have reservations in Bern from 17-18 Jun and in Lucerne on 19th Jun. Planning to visit Jungfraujoch and Grindelwald on 18th and see Lucerne and maybe Pilatus on 19th. Will be arriving in Bern from Paris and move to Venice from Lucerne on 20th. My question is Swiss pass a good option for us? Our itinerary is pretty fixed. Thanks in advance.

The 30-day Half Fare card is the way to go. Coming from Paris, you will change trains in Basel, and from then on you will pay 50% for all you Swiss tickets, including the Jungfraujochbahn, until you exit the country, probably at Chiasso. 120 CHF per adult. This usually saves more than the Travel Pass. Any kids under 16?

Hi Sam, thank yo so much for your reply. Yes we are 2 adults and our son is 6 years old. We were thinking about taking TGV from Paris because of the short time and direct route with no changes. From your reply what I can make out is the half fare card is going to be more economical than taking normal tickets for point to point. First time in Europe. So a little confused regarding the travel system. So will check up the half fare card. Thanks a ton.

Also get a free Family Card, then your son travels with you free.
