Part of our honeymoon in Switzerland

Do you think 2.5-3.5 days is enough time in Grindelwald? Trying to make several stops on a 16 day trip flying into Munich. This is what I have so far:
Füssen 3 nights
Grindelwald 4 nights
Black Forest 4 nights
Nürnberg 1-2 nights depending on how long we stay in Grindelwald or the Black Forest
Munich 4 nights

Wanna see as mush as possible without rushing.

Thank you

I'm not sure what you are asking. You have 4 nights in the itinerary but 2.5 to 3.5 days in your description. When are you traveling? I think you would want at least 4 nights in Berner Oberland. Have you researched the villages? Grindelwald has more restaurants/inns but I think the other side of BO is much prettier and authentic. Lauterbrunnen is more of the "transportation hub" in that area. I love the Lauterbrunnen Valley and that's where I stayed. You could also look at Wengen (very pretty, higher up in mountains, but less centrally located) and Murren(also beautiful, very close to Schilthorn).

You didn't ask about your other stops. You might find you have too many nights in Fussen and the Black Forest. I think I'd do 2 in Fussen and 3 in the Black Forest. You could use those days for Nurnberg or BO or consider a couple nights in Luzern, Switzerland. It's close to BO, and its lovely. It sits on a river and a large lake and in the middle of the mountains. Luzern's old town is beautiful and the bridges are frequently photographed.

The 1st day for each site is a travel day. Thinking three nights in Fussen, because that’s the day we fly in. Wanted to get acclimated to the time change, plus see Neuschwanstein. My plans are just for a base right now. And all the ideas that get will go in to determining where we stay and do. I have been thinking one less night in BF and adding that to Nürnberg. Munich has to be 3 full days. As we want to see the Eagles Nest and do a few things around Munich, that we didn’t do last time.

Just a warning, how are you travelling (car, train)? Füssen to Switzerland is a slow but pretty route by train or car, because you are going crossways across the Alpine foothills. The rail lines and main roads mostly head north to Munich.
You might consider a stop off in Lindau. This is on the rail and road route, and is a nice little town on an island (connected by bridges) in Bodensee (Lake Constance).

For the Jungfrau region (Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen, Mürren and Wengen), consult this website: https://jungfrauregion.swiss/en/summer/

Yes, will be traveling by car. We’ll take it easy on travel days and take it all in.

I thank everybody for the recommendations. I love this forum.

Don't forget you will need Autobahn Vignettes to cover the Autobahn tolls in Austria and Switzerland (no tolls in Germany). You can buy them at the border, or sometimes in fuel stations before the border.
The route from Füssen to Switzerland involves a short section of Austria as you go round the east end of Bodensee (Lake Constance). You could avoid buying an Austrian Vignette by keeping to the normal roads.
A Swiss Vignette costs CHF 40.

Sean, you have two different sets of honeymoon plans (Germany post). The region of Switzerland you plan on visiting is well worth it. If you go with Switzerland and like hiking in general, skip the Black Forest- I like it but more is to be had in the Bernese Oberland and the Bavarian Alps. Especially do not base in Triberg.

Skip staying in Nuremberg, do as a long day trip from Munich (hour by train). Stick with three bases, preferably two, just a personal preference. Once back in Munich, drop the car. Munich is worth three days for me and there are a few attractive places close by which can be reached by public transport - check out Murnau, Bad Tolz, Chiemsee, Regensberg, Dachau, Ulm, Augsburg and more.

To name a few, close to Fussen are Kempten/Ottobeuren Abbey one way, Oberammergau/Linderhof/Ettal Abbey the other. Spend a full day hiking to the King's House on Schachen, or the two gorges in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Hike around Hopfensee, bike around Forggensee. See the castles, hike way above the castles and around Alpsee. When I'm in Hohenschwangau, I always make a point of dining at the Hotel Müller. A little further, Mittenwald and the Leutasch Gorge.

Grindelwald (good suggestion to stop off at Lindau on the way, a charming spot). My experience with that part of the world is one week in Bern as a youth, with a few side trips into the countryside, and three or four nights around Spiez on my honeymoon. It's the most dramatic part of the world I've seen, in terms of mountain scenery. If you get tired of the mountains (ha), Bern itself is a pretty city, and I remember finding Fribourg attractive. As a youth from Ontario, Interlaken was a gem for me, though some on this board might say otherwise. I also had to do Reichenbach Falls, with a photo of my new wife pushing me over the edge. Oh, and a cruise on the lake, depending on the time of the year.

Someone in your Germany post suggested that Munich is not romantic. Skegness and Lloret de Mar can be romantic in the right company, Florence and Paris cannot be in the wrong company.
