I will be in Lauterbrunnen in early October and am contemplating tandem paragliding with Airtime.
Does anyone have information that would help me plan for the best time of day for the Schilthorn trip?

Mornings tend to give you a better chance of clear skies, but this is not a hard and fast rule. Sieze the opportunity at the first sign of good weather. Unless you plan on an extended stay, you may not get another chance.

Do it! I did it in September the weather was amazing except I did it from murren. If I could change one thing to do from where you are gonna do it. Depends on the weather if you are there for a couple of days see how the weather is, and let them know when you want to do it. Airtime was very good

I'd suggest basing your decision on the weather at the time, and the recommendations of the Airtime staff. I took a tandem flight from Mürren a few years ago on October 11, and the weather was great so it was a wonderful experience.
