Anyone know when they’re planning to put the pano trains back in service? I was hoping to reserve VIP seats in June. Are they refurbishing them, taking them out of service for good or what? I only seem to be able to find vague information. Thanks for any insight. (And, yes, I do know that regular trains travel this same route.)

As I recall, they're remodeling the trains inside and out. For travel this June, I don't have any specific booking-date preview, but would look again perhaps around February 15 or March 1.
The railway is also ordering some new cars. Eventually, probably from December 2020, variable wheelbases will allow the re-branded "Golden Pass Express" to cross different track gauges, eliminating the need to change trains at Zweisimmen.
