Order of itinerary help

Looking for help as I am experiencing itinerary fatigue and keep second guessing myself. Please help me be decisive.
Family of four adults coming late June 2025, land on June 19th and depart June 30th. Please see two options and feel free to totally confuse me and suggest a third option. :) We are not huge hikers but looking to enjoy the scenery, sights, good food and active experiences.

Plan A- concern is that will land and have a long train ride.
land and head directly to Zermatt for 2 nights (19-21)
Train to Grindlewald for 6 nights (21- 27)
train Lucerne for 3 nights (27-30)
train to Zurich for flight home on June 30th at 11:50am

Plan B- problem here is that I will be so far away from Zurich for our flight
land and head directly to Lucerne for 3 nights (19-22)
train to Grindelwald for 6 nights (22-28)
train to zermott for 2 nights (28-30)
train to Zurich for flight home at 11:50am

A: Just switch the order
Grindelwald-Zermatt-Lucerne
It's not that bad to get to the BO on arrival (about 2 and a half hours), but you could spend the night in Zurich--cut BO to 5 or Lucerne to 2 if needed.
See sbb website for train times.
It'll be great!

Grindelwald is 3 hours, Zermatt is 3.5. It’s really not a big deal.

I’d go with option A. Seeing a bit of the countryside while you relax and maybe walk around a bit in the train is a nice way to ease into the trip and it will be more relaxing to be only a 1 hour direct train to the airport on the morning of departure. That’s a bigger deal than how far you go the first day. And I wouldn’t worry about switching Grindelwald and Zermatt just to save 30 minutes. And I definitely wouldn’t take a night away to stay in Zurich.
