Opportunities to hike during My Way Alpine tour

I would like to hike a bit in the Alps. Since I will be a solo traveler, I'm considering the My Way Alpine tour, as opposed to going completely solo. I don't mind traveling solo, but it seems smarter to do this particular trip with a group. I would like to hike as much as possible....... any of you who have done this tour, would you please advise as to how much time there was at the stops to hike? And did you enjoy the tour, or suggest I do this on my own?

We took this tour to hike! We hiked at every location, except Salzburg. The tour manager talked with everyone during the bus days, and offered suggestions for which hikes might meet our needs and abilities. I remember in the Dolomites that we ended up hiking with other people from our tour and had an amazing lunch at a hut on the trail (the huts offer amazing food and drinks). I say take this tour!

The one thing good about a My Way tour is you can do whatever you want. Just be on time for the bus! I would do some advanced planning as to hikes and read the itinerary closely to determine when you arrive at a destination to determine your free time. Also, have a plan B if the whether is not so great in the mountain areas. Enjoy.
