I am planning to travel from Brig to Lauterbrunnen around the 13th of June this year, via the Grimsel Pass. I thought I read that most highways through passes in the Swiss Alps were normally open in late May, but Google Maps says that Highway 6 is closed until late June, so I am a bit worried. What are normal opening dates, and is there a good source of expected opening dates for the current season?

I may have found the answer to my question on my own. This web site has planned opening dates for routes through the Swiss Alps.
