I booked a flight that has a long layover in Zurich 3:30PM- 6:40 AM I booked a hotel close to the airport but wanted to make the most of my time in Zurich. Since the museums will not be open any recommendations for what to see and where to eat? I love to stroll and enjoy architecture.

You don't say what time of year you're traveling, but if you have daylight in the evening, a stroll down the Bahnhofstrasse to the lake would be nice.

we did a similar thing, may last year i ( and have another planed for next year) Zurich is a nice town to stroll around, plenty of restaurants to pick from. its nice to stroll down by the river and lake side.
by the time you get out of the airport then the airport train into the city , museums probably would be closed?

Bremgarten, Zurich: Bijou and Mamma's are both good places to eat though Bijou's view is hands-down awesome.
