We will be traveling from Bern to Zurich on May 12th and leaving to go home on the 13th. So we have one full day in Zurich and looking for thing(s) to do.
We can stroll the RS walk or go to the Zoo or maybe the Lindt chocolate factory.
Would love some thoughts from folks that have done these activities or something else they loved.
Much appreciated!!
I don't know if you're interested in art, but the Kunsthaus Zurich is excellent. If you like Chagall at all you can also see his beautiful windows at the Fraumunster church.
Yes, thank you!
The church and National museum are on the list in RS book so we are thinking those but looking for another place to add. We don’t want to have a “packed” day but certainly see what we can in a leisurely manner.
The tourism office offers an inexpensive town tour that lasts a couple of hours. The Lindt factory tour was interesting but not really in town.
Do you like chocolate? If so, when you arrive in Zurich by train, go to the basement and follow your nose. Buy as much as you can and bring it back to the states. Your friends who are chocolate lovers will never forget the experience, nor will you.
We do indeed love chocolate and are taking a chocolate sampling tour in Bern! We will definitely go down and grab some.
