I was looking for suggestions on where to eat in Old Town. Also, things to do around the area.
Thanks in advance

The above Search should help you. Also, join Zurich Facebook groups for real- time info. When is this trip?
Have a great adventure.
We love Trattoria Sempre in the old town. Be sure to make a reservation as they are busy. They take onlin res.
How long will you be there? Do you want something active (there is a mountain walk a short train ride from the city), city sights like museums, a cruise on the lake?
Food in Zurich tends to be very expensive, but I enjoyed the Rheinfelder Bierhalle at 76 Niederdorfstrasse. Some nice Swiss Apfelwein as well.
Agreed that food in Zürich isn't cheap. It's also somewhat hit-or-miss in terms of actual Swiss cuisine, but great with other things.
On my trip last week I was impressed with the mezzé at Lotti (Werdmühlepl. 3, 8001 Zürich, Switzerland). It wasn't cheap, but there was a lot of food with the prix-fixe vegetarian chef's sampler for 4 people. We ended up getting most of their vegetarian fare (which is extensive), served at an easygoing pace. Waitstaff were friendly and explained it all, the ingredients were all fresh and local. It was worth the time and expense.
Mostly, though, we ended up cooking at our AirBnB, buying ingredients at the COOP and at local farm markets and simply enjoying the local fare. And if we wanted take-away, kebab shops were plentiful and affordable.
