We heard there is an Oktoberfest in Uster; we'll be in the area Oct. 7-8. Any advice? Places to stay? We heard you need tickets, but can't get the website to translate into English.

As best as I can tell, you have to buy out a table of 10. At 49 CHF per person gets you a table far from the stage, Dinner, and ONE mass of beer. I would certainly hope you could buy more.
Thnx. Do they have activities outside the tents, or is everything inside? This is our first time there.
Looks like just an evening beer party in a pavilion/tent. Doors open at 5:30 pm, bands till 11:30 pm, bar shuts down at 2:00 am. My "translate" function doesn't work on this website either, but you can cut and paste into google translate to get the details.
