Hello! After Nov. 1 it looks like the Ebenalp guesthouses/hikes are all closed. A friend and I will be there a few days after that. Can anyone recommend a place to stay for two nights? We were hoping the Aescher, but they are closed. Anything like that would be cool. Anything we should look into? Thanks!

Staying in Appenzell might be a better idea, as the hotels should still be operating then (although I haven't checked). This might be an option too, but again I'm not sure when they close for the season - http://www.gasthaus-ebenalp.ch/index.php?id=9 .
