Nice video.....

If anyone is interested, this video of Gimmelwald was taken today and it certainly provides a different view than I remember from a warmer time of year......

It's disappointing to hear that the local school has closed, but I guess that was inevitable at some point. At least it's not difficult for students to get down to the school in Lauterbrunnen.

The other playlists on this channel will provide many hours of viewing on these cold winter nights!

Jah Ken, das ist gude!
Well-done, man. Thank you for posting this. I liked both your variety plus the unique lighting.
One could just smell the fresh air.
Btw, @3:15 we see the water trough. We once ended a hike there and I doused my head with that very water to cool down. The prob was the temperature: it was freezing water! I was rubbing my throbbing head moments later as we ran into the cafe to escape the rain, when who should race in just behind us but a RS tour!

Will also check out your additional vids.
cheers
I am done. the end.

Thanks for the comments.

The video certainly shows that it's not entirely a "car free village". They even have snow blow.... will wonders never cease. Just to clarify, I didn't make the video. It appeared on one of my news feeds and I thought it may be of interest to the group here.

Such a beautiful area! Thanks for sharing the video, Ken! Good memories of our time there with the RS tour and again a few years later.

Thanks for the link. It certainly looks a lot different in the winter. My first trip to Switzerland I quickly learned there is no such thing as “car free.” I could not believe all the worker/construction vehicles in the supposed car free villages/towns.

Love the sound of the crunching snow as the person taking the video walks through the village.

Thanks for posting; I really enjoyed this.

I don’t think I’ll ever make it to Switzerland in winter (I get enough of the white stuff at home), but it is interesting to see (on video, lol) the difference between winter and summer.

I especially enjoyed seeing all the creative firewood storage and also the livestock in their winter “playpens.”

Ken,

Thanks for sharing this beautiful video!

One day I hope to make it to Switzerland!

Ciao!

Thank you video is really interesting. But while I have not matured professionally to create video content. I am engaged in the creation and design of plumbing logo. In my work I use vector images, it turns out very interesting and rewarding. I hope in the future I will also be engaged in the creation of videos.
