Where in Switzerland should we spend NY Eve or Day?
We can plan around this if it’s important!
Are things closed on both days generally? This is for a teenager and a mom :)

Yes, things are closed on New Years Day and most stores will have an earlier closing time on New Years Eve. Grocery stores like Coop Pronto might be open, and perhaps ones in larger train stations, but I would not rely on it.
