Me and spouse are going to Switzerland this mid april, after our trip from German. And this is our 1st time trip
Need some advise regarding our itinerary as below;
Apr 15 : Munich - Zurich Hb (by flixbus at 9.05 am) - Lucerne (by train). After hotel check in, will do some short walk to explore the city (bridge chappel, lion monument, old town).
Apr 16 : morning : Mt Rigi/Mt pilatus/Mt titlis
Still have no idea which mountain is most suitable for our half day Plan, with scenic adventure.
Then, at 03.00 pm, we are planning to go to Interlaken ost - grindelwald (by train) and expect to arrive grindelwald at dinner time
We have booked 3 nights stay at grindelwald
April 17 : Jungfraujoch tour (to the top) for half day. Then on the way back down from jungfraujoch, plan to visit lauterbrunnen and its famous trummelbach.
Back to hotel at grindelwald
Apri 18 : option 1 - one day trip to Zermatt
Option 2 - boat tour lake brienz and visit brienz village and ballenberg open air museum
—> really need advise which option should be good, considering the weather n the season. Is the city of zermatt Worth to be visited for one day trip ?
April 19 : leaving grindelwald in the morning and depart to Zurich Hb (by train).
Then drop our lugage on the lugage storage (for couple hours) and short explore the town. Then heading to Zurich airport ( by train) for our flight at 07.00 pm
Need advise on our above itinerary. We try to maximize our time by visiting some famous cities in switzerland.
And should we buy swiss travel pass / half fare card / point to point ticket ?
Try to calculate all the cost, but still get no idea which one is the worth saving
