My friends and I are traveling to Switzerland mid April. This is our itinerary. We need desperate help figuring out if we buy the Swiss travel card or the half pass card. We fly into Zürich and then taking the Belle epoque train to Lucerne. From Lucerne going to Interlaken then to Montreux then jumping on the glacier express to disentís then going to Lugano and from Lugano back to Zurich for our departure home. Do we need to buy both passes? We are very confused as to what each one covers. We will be going to most of the tourist attractions that require getting on ficus, cable, cars, and regular trains in between can someone suggest which is the best train pass to buy ? Thank you
I'm assuming you mean Swiss Travel Pass. This will give you the most convenience, as any covered routes you don't buy tickets for, you just hop on the train and when tickets are checked (at random) you just show your pass. Here is the map of everything it includes: https://www.swiss-pass.ch/wp-content/uploads/pdf/swiss-travel-system-map.pdf
