[Need Help] Switzerland 5 days itenerary

Hello,
My Husband and I in our 30’s coming into Zurich via bus from Munich. Arriving at Zurich on 02 APR 2019, 11 A.M

We plan to base in Lucerne. I’m still considering wheather to spend 3 nights or 4 nights in Switzerland before flying off to Prague.

Planning to visit :
1. Lake Lucerne
2. Mt Rigi
3. Walk around old town of lucerne
4. Rhine fall if possible ?
5. If we miss Zugspitze in Bavaria due to bad weather we will consider to go to Mt Titlis.

Base on the above places, if we arrive Zurich on 02 Apr, Tuesday 1030 A.M and leave for Prague on 05 Apr, Friday noon, will we have sufficient time ? Or We should extend 1 more day ?

Thanks a lot ! Appreciate all your replys

I would extend it 1 more day. Switzerland should never be rushed to explore.

Here is a more interesting Itenerary to explore for your 2019 trip if you are willing:

April 2nd -Day 1. Lucerne - Mt. Rigi & Walk around old town of Lucerne.
April 3rd -Day 2. Lucerne - Day Trip to Berner Oberland (visits to either Lauterbrunnen, Wengen, or Murren) You can visit 2 villages out of the 3 I mentioned. (Lucerne to Bernese Highlands train services, operated by Swiss Railways (SBB/CFF/FFS), depart from Luzern station).
April 4th -Day 3. Lucerne - Day trip to Bern Switzerland (Upon return from Bern day trip , walk around old town some more).
April 5th - Day 4- Fly out to Prague at noon. .

I would spend day 1 in Lucerne; days 2 and 3 in the Berner Oberland; leave late on day 3 from the BO. Also I would add an extra day for Switzerland.

Is BO that nice at the beginning of April? I don't know, I just raise the question. Lucerne is not as climate/weather dependent.

Diana, I was hoping someone would provide some experience in terms of the weather at the beginning of April. When I look at averages for the area, it seems to me to be like "in between" weather--not winter, not quite spring/summer and possibly muddy. If that is what would be expected, I think you are probably better off in a larger city (like Lucerne) where you'd have more options which would allow you to be responsive to weather conditions. There is no doubt that BO is beautiful, I just wonder how it would be in April and if you'd want to be there for 3 days. Hopefully, someone that has more knowledge of spring weather in Switzerland could provide great insight.

Thaw season can happen anytime between mid March to mid May. It depends on specific weather patterns on the preceeding year. The issue is not only more rain but especially snowmelt.
