Nature spot close to Geneva

Hello travellers,

I was wondering if I could ask for a suggestion from those who know and love Switzerland.

I am currently visiting France and am based in Annecy. On Wednesday, I'd like to drive over to Switzerland seeing as it is so close. I was wondering if you could suggest any beautiful viewpoints, hikes (up to 4 h one way), nature spots, classic Swiss views in the South West of the country that would be no more than 1h 30 m driving away from Annecy ? (Roughly around the Geneva area I think)

One nature spot right in Geneva is the Jardin Botaniques, just west of the United Nations buildings and almost next to the lake. There are gardens and mini-zoos in there.

For a hike, you might consider walking up to the Saleve, a mountain overlooking Geneva.
